Choosing a treatment, checking prices and understanding the booking steps.
Start with what you would like to change, not the name of a treatment. Message Lara with your goal, and she will tell you which direction makes sense before a date is confirmed.
Every treatment starts with an assessment. Some requests can be reviewed from your information and photos; others need a personal consultation before anything is booked.
A photo helps Lara decide whether the request fits her work and whether anything needs to be discussed first. It is a screening step, not a diagnosis or a replacement for the required clinical assessment. Lara will explain what is needed and how to share it directly.
Your appointment is confirmed directly by Lara after she has reviewed your request and agreed the next step with you. She will confirm the date, location and any deposit required before you make a payment.
Lara will confirm whether a deposit is required, how it is applied to your treatment and the cancellation terms before you pay.
Lara works by appointment only. Please message her directly to check the current city, available dates and appointment location.
Yes. Confirmed prices are published on the Treatments page, so you can review them before you enquire. Where a treatment needs an individual plan, that is stated clearly.
Please ask Lara which payment options are currently available. Where a payment plan is offered through an independent lender, the lender confirms approval, interest and repayment terms before you accept.
Sometimes. Lara can build a plan across more than one area when the combination suits your anatomy and goal. Confirmed packages and combinations are listed on the Treatments page.
No injectable treatment can come with a guaranteed result. Lara will explain what is realistic for your anatomy and build the plan around that rather than copying someone else’s face or body.
Shape, volume, the appointment and what to expect after lip filler.
My job is not to give you someone else’s lips. It is to bring forward what already suits your face — a cleaner border, soft fullness or a more defined shape, depending on what you are asking for.
The result is always built from the anatomy of your own lips, from the product I select for them and from the technique I use. That is why two clients asking for the same thing rarely get the same plan.
The risk of an unnatural result is reduced by planning each case individually, keeping the volume moderate and injecting with the correct technique.
Immediately after the appointment lips look larger than they will be, because of swelling. The shape is judged once that has fully settled — around three to four weeks.
The filler is selected by the rheology of the product, the indication, your anatomy and the goal of the correction. The exact product and volume are confirmed after your consultation, not over messages.
I choose individually for every client, because lip anatomy and lip shape are not the same from one person to the next.
I usually apply a lidocaine numbing cream first, so sensation is minimal. Most clients feel the first entry point and little after that: the filler itself contains lidocaine, so the lips numb further as the treatment goes on and the rest becomes more comfortable.
A dental block is also available if you would prefer one. Both options are only for clients with no lidocaine allergy — tell me beforehand if you have ever reacted to it.
A typical starting range is 0.5–1 ml. The final volume is decided individually, and where more is appropriate the result is built up in stages after your healed lips have been fully assessed.
Lips change gradually rather than disappearing on one particular day. For most clients the result is visible for around six to twelve months, but that depends on the product, the volume, your metabolism and how much the area moves.
After a first visit we look at the healed result before deciding anything else, and then settle into an unhurried maintenance rhythm rather than layering appointment on appointment.
Migration is filler moving beyond the area it was placed in. The risk can be lowered by choosing the right volume, product, injection layer and interval between treatments.
It cannot be ruled out entirely, and any practitioner who tells you otherwise is overstating what is known.
Yes. In Lara’s experience, most cases take one dissolving session, though some take two and occasionally more. When new filler can be placed afterwards is decided case by case.
The treatment is not performed, or is postponed, when there is an active infection or inflammation in the area, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Further restrictions depend on your allergies, medical history, medication and the product chosen.
I also decline cases where the aftercare clearly will not be followed. The instructions on this site are not optional extras — the result depends on them.
A lip flip gently rolls the upper lip outward by relaxing the muscle, but it does not add real volume. Filler changes shape, border and fullness.
If your upper lip disappears when you smile, a lip flip can be a good small step. If you want volume restored or the border defined, that is filler’s job.
Botox, facial balancing, individual planning and recovery.
A full-face approach assesses the balance of the muscles across the upper, middle and lower thirds of the face, rather than treating a single wrinkle in isolation.
A plan may include the forehead, the glabella, the eye area and specific off-label areas where they are indicated. The aim is controlled weakening of particular muscles — there is no universal pattern applied to everyone.
This cannot honestly be answered from a message or from someone else’s result. Muscle strength differs, and so does the goal: some clients want to keep more movement, others want a stronger correction.
I give you a dose once I have seen how your face moves and we have agreed on the effect you want.
The full result is visible by day 21. It lasts between three and six months, and that range is individual — lifestyle, activity level and metabolism all change it.
There is no recovery period as such, but the first 24 hours matter. Avoid intense activity, heavy sweating and hot or cold compresses on the treated area.
Facial balancing is a combined correction of facial proportion that takes the profile and the relationship between areas into account. Volume and injection points are determined individually.
There is no standard volume. A plan may be carried out in one visit or across several. In structural areas the expected duration is 12–24 months, depending on the product and on individual factors.
Before treating, the depth of the fold, the mid-face and the quality of the tissue are all assessed.
Treatment may mean filling directly, restoring support higher in the face, or using a collagen-stimulating product instead.
There is no standard volume. A plan may be carried out in one visit or across several. In structural areas the expected duration is 12–24 months, depending on the product and on individual factors.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness and temporary firmness are all expected. Reactions usually subside within one to two weeks; the exact timing depends on the area and the product used.
Away from the lips things settle faster: the mouth is the slowest area on the face.
Normal activity resumes the same day. Makeup over the treated area: leave it for the first 24 hours.
Structural areas — the cheeks, chin and jawline — hold their result longer than mobile ones, usually somewhere around 12 to 24 months.
The current menu includes lips, chin, cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds, tear trough and non-surgical rhinoplasty, as well as Botox areas. Suitability and the final plan are confirmed after assessment.
Collagen stimulation, fat dissolving and injectable body contouring.
Sculptra does not create instant volume the way a classic filler does. It starts a gradual production of your own collagen, so the change appears softly, week by week.
It suits people who want a steady improvement in tissue quality and support rather than a sharp correction of one line.
A typical course is one to four treatments, at least three weeks apart. The result develops gradually and can last around two years; the plan depends on the area and on how your tissue responds.
Follow the prescribed massage and all other instructions exactly. Swelling, bruising and tenderness are expected; delayed papules or nodules are a specific risk that will be discussed with you.
It is not used in people with an allergy to its components, a history of anaphylaxis or multiple severe allergies, or a tendency to keloid or hypertrophic scarring. Treatment is postponed during infection, pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Kybella destroys fat cells under the chin and is FDA-approved for that specific indication. Before treatment, Lara must confirm that the fullness is caused by localized fat rather than another factor.
A series may be needed, with at least one month between treatments and no more than six sessions. Destroyed fat cells do not regenerate, although later weight gain can still change the contour.
Expect pronounced swelling, bruising, tenderness, firmness and temporary numbness under the chin. Plan for a visible recovery of one to two weeks — this is not a treatment to have the day before an event.
This one has the heaviest short-term reaction on the menu. The numbness under the chin is expected and it is temporary.
Trouble swallowing is on the emergency list at the top of this page — treat it as that, not as something to report later. A smile that has gone uneven or one-sided needs a message the same day.
Sessions are at least a month apart, so the swelling from one is long gone before the next.
It is not performed where there is infection in the area, and it may not suit marked skin laxity or a cause of volume that is not fat.
The risks that matter most are temporary injury to the marginal mandibular nerve and difficulty swallowing.
It is injectable shaping rather than surgery: filler may be used for hip dips or added volume, while PLLA or Radiesse may be used to stimulate collagen. Injectable products used for buttock augmentation are not FDA-approved for that purpose, so this is an off-label treatment discussed during consultation.
No. Injectable treatment creates a more limited and gradual change than surgical fat transfer. Filler may take one session with any addition considered after at least a month; PLLA normally requires at least two to three sessions.
Practical questions for the days before your appointment and the weeks after it.
Please don’t leave lips to the week before something important. Come at least two weeks ahead, and for a wedding or a large shoot three to four weeks.
That gives swelling and bruising time to pass, and leaves room for an unhurried look at the result before the day itself.
To reduce heavy bruising, avoid alcohol and other things that increase bleeding before the visit. Never stop prescribed medication on your own; tell Lara what you take so the appointment can be planned safely.
Leave roughly two weeks between lip filler and dental work in either direction — that includes a routine cleaning, and it includes the cleaning booked for the week after.
A history of cold sores does not automatically rule treatment out, but Lara needs to know in advance because injections can trigger a flare-up. An active outbreak on the day means the appointment must be rescheduled.
Arrive with clean lips and no lipstick or gloss, eat before you come and allow around an hour for the visit. Tell Lara in advance about medication, allergies and any recent illness or infection.
Do not pick at injection points, and avoid lipstick or other lip makeup for at least three days. Avoid strong suction or pressure during the first week; only massage if Lara instructs you to, beginning on the day she specifies.
Allow at least a week before returning to these activities. For hard training, saunas, steam and other heat, Lara may ask you to wait up to two weeks depending on the treatment and your recovery.
Swelling is usually strongest during the first 24–48 hours and largely settles over the following week. Bruising may last up to 14 days; the lip result is assessed at four weeks.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, redness and small firm areas can be expected. Seek urgent help for severe or increasing pain, pale, white or mottled skin, changes in tissue color, any change in vision or neurological symptoms.
The treatment is not performed, or is postponed, when there is an active infection or inflammation in the area, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Further restrictions depend on your allergies, your medical history, your medication and the product chosen — which is why that list is asked for in writing and asked for early.
An active cold sore on the day is a reschedule, every time.
I also decline cases where the aftercare clearly will not be followed. The instructions on this site are not optional extras — the result depends on them.
Tell Lara what you would like to change. She can explain which treatment direction makes sense for you.
